Google Classroom | Getting Started
The basic setup process for Google Classroom is pretty intuitive, even for first-time users.
There are also plenty of do-it-yourself tutorials on YouTube posted by teachers and tech-integration specialists.
Many of these teacher-created videos include practical tips and tricks they've learned from using the platform in their classrooms.
Good luck and have an amazing Summer.

Music Squad - Fun in-school piano lessons to primary school students
Hello, we are Music Squad…
And we are here to kick some serious life into learning a musical instrument!
After graduating with a first-class degree in Music, our Chief Squadder, Hannah, got her first
full-time job teaching the piano in schools. But something didn’t feel right. The kind of teaching
she was asked to do didn’t reflect any of the fun or enjoyment she felt music was all about. The
lessons were serious and one-dimensional, the material dull and unimaginative. Yawn!
Inspired by the adventure that Hannah knew music was supposed to be about, Music Squad was
born! Music Squad exists to share the joy, friendship and adventure that making music can bring
to all children and is a revolutionary new way for children to embrace music and learn to love
playing a musical instrument.
Music Squad delivers fun in-school piano lessons to primary school students – or Squaddies! And
we are so excited to bring our first ever Keyboard Squad to Benchill Primary School. Learning an
instrument should be lively and fun and that’s exactly what Keyboard Squad is all about!
Keyboard Squad is a relaxed and informal weekly session for children of any ability to discover
the joy of making music with others. Each week we’ll explore different duets, improvisations
and activities designed to encourage Squaddies to get creative on their own terms. Underpinned
by robust musical theory and 15 years of teaching experience, the material has been carefully
designed to maximise musical development without compromising on enjoyment. Because fun
learning is good learning. Plus regular performances, it’s light, informal, always great fun and
boosts confidence from a young age. Check out our site to see what other immense benefits
making music can bring to children - www.musicsquad.co.uk/music-for-brain-power
