Headteacher's Welcome

I’d like to extend a warm welcome to Benchill Primary School, a place where pupils, parents, staff and governors work together as one team to enable each other and all of our pupils to flourish and reach their full potential. 

We believe that our pupils should be given learning opportunities through an exciting, engaging and inclusive curriculum, which meets our pupil's individual needs in a caring and supportive environment. We aspire to develop not only academic rigor, but also our pupils' social and cultural growth. We are passionate about providing our children with experiences beyond our school gates. For example, residentials, theatre experiences and opportunities to learn musical instruments. 

Our ethos is built on strong values which underpin everything we do, encouraging children to develop positive attitudes to learning and develop inquisitiveness about the world around them, helping them to flourish as model citizens within our community.

Our values are underpinned by our three main strands: Conquering Challenges, Celebrating Difference and Growing Together.
